New press reports have just confirmed that the EFCC recently recovered Toyota and Lexus cars from 41 fraudsters that were arrested in Anambra State. This massive clampdown was reportedly carried out by the Enugu Zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Media sources confirmed that all of the 41 arrested suspects were apprehended in Awka, the capital city of Anambra State.

According to press reports, the 41 suspected fraudsters were arrested this week on Wednesday, August 31. Enugu EFCC operatives got credible intelligence which they acted upon and that led to the arrest of the 41 suspects. All of the young men paraded in the published photos are allegedly involved in cybercrimes and fraudulent activities. The EFCC revealed in its official statement that 25 of the suspects were apprehended at the Umudu Okpuno village in Awka-South Local government. Meanwhile, the other 16 suspects were reportedly arrested at Umuodu Tansi Road in Awka, Anambra State.

All the vehicles recovered by the EFCC from fraudsters in Anambra State are mainly Lexus and Toyota models
Apart from revealing the names of all the 41 suspects arrested in Awka, the EFCC also published the model names of the vehicles recovered. Below is a quick list of the cars recovered from the arrested fraudsters.
- Toyota Camry sedan (1)
- Unregistered Lexus ES350 sedan (1)
- Registered Lexus ES350 sedan (1)
- Lexus RX 350 SUV (1)
Also, the official statement of the EFCC revealed that several laptops and mobile phones were recovered as well from the suspected fraudsters. Photos of the other items recovered from the suspects are however not published in the press reports.
