A shocking report reaching us claimed that Ebonyi police recently arrested a man who ran away with his boss’ Toyota Hilux truck. Luckily, the police have now been able to recover the expensive pickup truck from the suspected car thief. Press sources identified the suspect as Sunday Nwankwo, a 52-yrs-old man. Reports revealed that the suspect was a private driver of Mrs Ugo Nnachi who owns the Toyota Hilux truck. The arrested man allegedly stole Mrs Nnachi’s vehicle last Friday and has since disappeared with no traces. Fortunately for his boss, the police in Ebonyi State was able to track and apprehend the man on Sunday, May 8.

Mrs Loveth Odah, the PRO of Ebonyi State police gave more details about the man who was recently arrested for stealing his boss’ car. The policewoman revealed that Sunday Nwankwo was very close to “selling off” the Toyota Hilux vehicle when the police got hold of him. According to Ebonyi police PRO, Sunday Nwankwo allegedly hails from Okposi Eyim Umuoghara community in Ezza-North LGA, Ebonyi State. He was arrested based on a car theft report submitted by Mrs Ugo Nnachi, who claims to be his boss. The Toyota Hilux truck allegedly stolen by the suspect is said to be carrying Chassis number MROHSCDIH0915349 and plate number EDA 630 AA. The police also allege that Sunday Nwankwo was going to sell off the truck to his gang when he got caught. As of the time of writing this report, the Toyota Hilux truck has been recovered by the police. Also, efforts are being made to also arrest the fleeing members of Sunday Nwankwo’s gang.
