Governor Sanwo-Olu in his speech mentioned that his administration is excited about the donation which he claims meant another confirmation of good collaboration between the public and private sectors in the state. He further revealed that he and some SNEPCo officials actually met in a dinner a few months back before the COVID-19 outbreak which was the time SNEPCo made the promise to support the state.
This is the reason behind the governor’s excitement that SNEPCo actually kept its word despite the rough times and economic crisis that the COVID-19 pandemic had created over the last 4 months.
Governor Sanwo-Olu also appreciated other partners of SNEPCo including Exxon Mobil and NNPC for their joint partnership in making the generous donation towards the state’s security task fund.
