For a year that has been riddled with series of events, one of which is the raging global pandemic known as the deadly coronavirus, Nigerian celebrities just can't stop buying cars.
Just when we were almost thinking we would end this year with the recent news of Davido’s new Lamborghini Huracan and Olamide’s Lamborghini Aventador, Dino Melaye decided to join the party with what appears to be one of the costliest things he would splash cash on this year.
Not to forget, the former lawmaker from Kogi-West acquired a bulletproof Mercedes G-Wagon and armoured Toyota Land Cruiser worth a combined ₦720m earlier this year.
His Lamborghini Aventador is a limited- edition sports car from the iconic Italian automaker. In 2013, the model was specially built in celebration of the company’s 50th anniversary, with just 100 examples rolled off the production line.
Interestingly, Dino’s own is the fourth on the list of the few units manufactured worldwide.

At the time when the supercar was launched, it went for a base price of $548,000, which excludes the shipping fee and clearing cost in Nigeria.
