Innovation, they say, is the mother of all inventions. While many would give up easily once they are unable to afford some basic needs such as shelter, food and clothing, others usually channel that energy into finding affordable solutions within their reach. We have written many articles here showing you some insane creations from abandoned vehicles and components of regular cars. An intriguing story that caught our attention this week is the story of a man who decided to put smiles on the face of his daughter by putting his skills into work. Yes, the UK dad turned an old double-decker Bus into a home for himself and his daughter. The single dad identified as 42-year-old Adam Collier decided to put his money on a double-deck bus since he couldn't afford a good house for his small family.
Collier acquired the double-decker bus in 2011 and decided to maximize it into a one-storey house
Adam Collier literally turned this double-decker bus into a full-blown luxurious house. According to reports, he got the double-decker bus in 2011. Afterwards, he tested his new purchase and used his computer to envision how the 90-seater bus would look like. His skill set as a carpenter and the fact that he lived on a bus during his childhood made this new challenge a bit more of a familiar setting for him. Collier created a structure that looks like a one-storey building by removing the entire seats from the bus. He decided to put a kitchen on the ground floor and the bedroom is found in the upper section of the bus.
The home shared by Adam and his daughter offers facilities commonly seen with regular houses
A video that was shared online shows the inside of this beautiful and well-furnished home that Adam Collier has been living in with his daughter Devon. From the clip shared on YouTube, the apartment features a restroom, kitchens, bedrooms and other regular house-like features fully equipped with air conditioning. Watch the video below.
