Incorporated on May 2, 2001 to carry on the business of proprietors and goods and passenger carrier, Cross Country Transport had started up as a small-scale commercial transportation. Now the company has now grown big with international repute with 30 different destinations across the 6 zones of the country, making it the company with one of the largest transport network. Not only plying "cross country" routes, the company also serves some neighboring African countries, including  Benin Republic, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Mali, and Burkina Faso.

Customers are only eligible for special offers and discounts mostly when they book online. Discounts are usually activated in some special cases also. The company also offers the best discount rates for National Youth Service Corp members. They are also popularly known as the Luxury Bus Company that is “the Corper’s Best Friend”.

Cross Country Transport online booking

Step 1: Choose the route and date

Visit https://crosscountry.ng/

On the online booking box, select:

  • “single” for a one-way trip booking or “return” for a round-trip booking.
  • "traveling from" and "traveling to"
  • your intended departure date. If it’s a round-trip make sure to set your return date.

Click on “Find my journey”. 

Step 2: Choose the seat 

Available trips will pop-up showing pickup points, available facilities, available seats, departure time, arrival time, trip duration and the amount for the trip.

Select your most preferable trip and click on “Choose Seat(s)”

Select any seat you want from available seats shown on the seat map. Seats that are free are colored green while the others are either occupied or already reserved. You can select more than one seat,  that is you can place an order for more than one or two persons.

Click on “Confirm seats”

Step 3: Payment

Fill in your required personal details and discount information on the next page, click on “Pay”

Lastly, fill in your Payment Details and click on proceed to make your payment.

You can also directly visit one of the Cross Country terminals across Nigeria to buy a ticket over the counter. To book a ticket, locate the nearest terminal to you, meet the sales representative, then tender your ATM card for POS payment or the cash equivalent to the sales rep.
