Portuguese footballer and Juventus star, Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly skipped training earlier this week to visit the Maranello factory of popular supercar maker, Ferrari. According to a media report, Cristiano Ronaldo took Monday, May 10 as a day off and visited Ferrari’s factory alongside the chairman of Juventus Football Club. It is quite surprising that CR7 could decide to miss training despite his club losing out of the Champions League earlier this week following a 3-0 defeat during a clash with AC Millan. The 36-years-old professional footballer seems to be “cooling off” the Champions League loss by getting himself a new ride.
Various media sources claim that Cristiano Ronaldo visited the Ferrari factory in Maranello with both Andrea Agnelli (Juventus FC chairman) and John Elkann, the CEO of Ferrari & Exor. It was when they were in the factory that Ronaldo reportedly signed some Juventus shirts which were given to F1 drivers Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc.
Both of the F1 drivers could be seen later posing for a photo with Cristiano Ronaldo in the above pictures taken inside the Ferrari factory. A popular Italian news outlet later published a report confirming that Cristiano Ronaldo bought a ₦754 million Ferrari Monza supercar for himself before leaving the factory that day.
As for those who don’t know already; Cristiano Ronaldo currently earns as much as ₦12.3 billion as salary for playing as a Forward at Juventus FC. The footballer also owns a huge collection of expensive cars which includes a ₦3.5 billion Bugatti Centodieci, Bugatti Veyron, Bugatti Chiron and many more.
