There is nothing wrong with showing love to one's favourite celebrity but it becomes a problem when it goes to the extreme. We have heard stories of fans stalking their favourite celebrities, where many of them ended up with restraining orders from their victims. Apparently, being popular comes with lots of prices. Popular American pop artist Taylor swift is one of the latest victims of "hard" love from fans. According to reports, Taylor Swift suffered serious damage to her property when a fan drove his car into her New York City property.

This shocking incident took place last Thursday 27th of January, 2022. The man in question was reportedly on the wrong side of the road leading to Swift's house. Further reports claim that the man reversed and crashed into her apartment building, destroying the fire hydrant in front of the building as well. The man, whose intention is not yet clear, exited the car and went to intercom on the property. The assailant tried to remove the intercom, leaving the electrical wire hanging out of the apartment building wall.

The crazy fan was said to be mumbling Taylor Swift upon the arrival of the authorities. Attempts to evacuate him from the property proved to be difficult as he insisted on seeing the pop star. The attention of the police was drawn to the site after a call was placed to them by an eyewitness. The man was later arrested and taken to a nearby hospital. Expectedly, the man was taken for psychiatric evaluation after the incident. According to the New York Police Department (NYPD), the man will be facing possible charges of criminal mischief and DWI.
