The Niger State FRSC command has just released a report concerning the loss of 8 people who lost their lives in a recent auto accident that occurred on Kagara-Birnin Gwari road of Rafi LGA in Niger State.
Trailer accident involving 46 people, 10 goats and 37 cows leads to death of 8 people in Niger state – FRSC
Mr. Joel Dagwa, the Niger State FRSC commander disclosed to News Agency of Nigerian (NAN) that this incident reportedly occurred on Tuesday 14th of January 2020 and a record of 46 people, 10 goats, and 37 cows were involved in the crash but only 8 people died while 17 others sustained severe injuries and were all taken to the Cottage Hospital, Kagara for immediate treatment.

While speaking with newsmen, the commander also mentioned that the bodies of the deceased victims have also been deposited at the mortuary of the same hospital. Mr. Dagwa stated that the accident involved a loaded with the above number of people and animals but had no registration number. He clearly blamed overloading and fatigue as the likely cause of this incident.
