Enugu state government restricts tricycle “Keke Napep” operating time to curb the spread of COVID-19 in the state
According to the news report, Prof. Simon Uchenna Ortuanya – the secretary to Enugu State government made this decision known when speaking to the press recently. He states that the restriction is in line with the Enugu government’s unrelenting efforts to help sustain and protect the resident of the state from the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the report, Prof Ortunaya reiterated that the earlier directive of the Governor that restricts tricycle operators from carrying more than two passengers at once still remains.
Addressing the press further, Prof Simon Ortunaya also stated that any rider found violating this directive would be arrested by security men and dealt with accordingly.
