If you don't want to drive all the way to Nigeria Immigration Service headquarter, you could always browse for the information you need here at Naijauto.com!

Many of you might have been familiar with the passport procedures due to the nature of your job or for some other reasons. But most of us are not since a passport is valid for a very long period of times, so the chance of you coming back to the Nigeria Immigration Service every 1 or 2 years is low.

With the lengthy period between your visits, it can be easy for you or anyone to forget the details of the procedures. So today Naijauto have gathered sufficient information for your reference and therefore you'd know what to prepare for your next trip to the site. Below is the complete information on cost of passport services in Nigeria in a table form and we also have a brief summary for your convenience.

The summary of passport fees, issued by the Nigeria Immigration Service

Looking at the table above, you can see that the 64-page type is priced pretty similarly in all categories, around N20,000 a piece.

The price range is slightly different with the 32-type. If you need to apply for a new 32-page passport, you need to prepare at least N11,000. A re-application would cost you the same amount.

If you have lost yours and need to get a new one, or you need (a) pronunciation correction, prepare double the amount of the previous item. It will cost you up to N22,000.

Interestingly, if you are at either end of the age groups (zero to 17 and above 60) the fee for every category is exactly the same; but the cost is almost double in some categories if you belong to the age group in the middle (18-59). We are not sure what's the intention behind this way of pricing, just thought we should mention it here.

One more thing, though the price range is clearly defined and tabulated, the actual cost is actually slightly higher, if you know what I mean. If you don't want to wait a whole day outside in the scorching sun of Nigeria and waste your valuable time, a little "incentive" is needed.

The backhander would be several thousand Nairas, depending on your negotiation skill and the situation.
