The main representative for Rolls-Royce, Ford, BMW and Jaguar Landrover brands in Nigeria, Coscharis Motor Pls, said that it built a technical manpower training institution named CG-EKO LLP Training Academy to provide jobs for young Nigerians working in the automotive industry. This was revealed by Mr. Cosmos Maduka, the President and CEO of Coscharis Group during the common ceremony of the institution taken place on August 4th, 2017 at Ikeja, Lagos.
He stated that the primary purpose of establishing the institution was to fill the vacuum created by the lack of qualified technicians in the auto industry.

At the ceremony, he declared: “We knew that in order to remain timeless in our relevance to the automotive industry, we needed to do more than selling new vehicles – we needed to also establish an after-sales support base which will help to keep our customers’ vehicles on the road, performing optimally at all times.”
The President also emphasized that the qualified technicians are assumed to drive the national economy into a bright future with a rapid growth in the auto industry.
Maduka highly appreciated the Lagos State government for their contribution to the foundation of CG-Eko LLP Training Academy in 2013 including supporting the joint venture, identifying and exploiting Coscharis’ vision via a public-private partnership.
Recalling the foundation of the first institution, Maduka said since admitting the first-generation trainees, the institution has proudly released 41 graduates up to now. Most of graduands have been working for the company, some recruited by other organizations, while some are after-sales facility administrators.
The CG-EKO LLP Training Academy, an auto sale, service, training and skill acquisition center, was launched in 2012 by former Lagos governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola.
