This is really an act of bravery. And come to think of it, it's coming from children.
Would you do the same if faced by a similar situation? It's a rhetoric question.
As shared by Naijauto.com to our readers, here's how it happened.
Two school children demonstrated an act of bravery by preventing two car thieves/kidnappers from stealing their father's car.
The father is driving to drop his children at school
Report reaching us has it that the children's father, who was referred to as Doctor, had gone to drop his children at the school they attend named, Bro Pius Nursery and Primary School in Akenzua street, off airport road Benin. No sooner had he parked that the robbers accosted him, asking him to get down from the car.
The children's father alighted from the car, while the two robbers/ kidnappers got into his car and made away with the car, taking his children along too.
Sources that witnessed the incident said there was a tussle going on inside the car, between the robbers and the eldest child, who we learned is eleven years old. This resulted in the car veering off the road to hit a building before somersaulting.
The robbers forced the father to step out then drive with two children inside
The two robbers fled the scene immediately, as sympathizers came to the rescue of the children. They were taken to an undisclosed hospital for medical attention.
DSP Chibuzor Nwabuzor, who was Edo police spokesperson verified the incident. He also said that the children pushed one of the car thieves out of the car when the struggle for the steering wheel was going on. He went further to say that the two robbers have already fled before they could visit the scene of the incident.
Presently, there’s an ongoing search for the fleeing robbers who will be facing the law when they are apprehended.
