Shocking news just reaching us on how Reece James’s car was broken into by thieves and Christmas gifts carted away. The stolen items from the Chelsea defender were meant to be delivered to the hungry children, as part of his volunteering work for the Independent Christmas campaign.
Reece James recently revealed how Christmas gift meant for hungry children were stolen from his car
Reece James has been providing assistance to ‘The Felix Project’, which is said to be one of the major partners for ‘Help The Hungry’ campaign in West London, where the thieves smashed his car’s window and took off with the gifts.
While disclosing the unfortunate event to the public, James said that he was bewildered when he returned to his car and found out that his 4x4 vehicle had been broken into, and the thieves went off with the gifts he was supposed to have delivered at the later part of the day.

The 21-year-old English defender planned to raise up to E100,000 to pay for over 500,000 meals. He went on to his Instagram account to share the pictures of his smashed vehicle, which prompted a lot of angry reactions from his fans, who found the situation odd considering the purpose of those gifts.

Meanwhile, Chelsea star wasn't the only English player that had encountered with thieves in recent times. Tottenham Star Harry Kane’s ₦50.4m Range Rover was stolen by thieves in broad daylight.
The England and Chelsea star has been doing the volunteering work quietly for 18 months now. He revealed that he grew up in the neighbourhood where people didn’t have the privilege to afford food every time. This made him help in any way that he could, which he believes will change the lives of people. One of the gifts stolen from his car was a Sony PlayStation 5, taken during lunchtime at the time he was at the Normand Croft Community School in Hammersmith.
