A car wash operator has been apprehended and set to be prosecuted for pushing his neighbor to death during an argument.
From a new report reaching us on Naijauto, a 35-year-old Sheriff Balogun, who happened to be a car wash operator, was recently apprehended by officers of the Lagos State police command for pushing Peter Elebo, his neighbour, to death last Saturday during an argument.

From what we learnt, Balogun and his deceased neighbour, according to police's report, were living in the same compound within Lagos before the incident. They both got into a heated argument and Elebo was allegedly pushed down by Balogun, which caused the victim to eventually start vomiting and lose his life right on the spot. Although he was hurried to the hospital but was confirmed dead upon arrival.

The case was reported to the Itire police station by Faith Elebo, the daughter of the deceased. SP Barkfur Kromkyes, who is in charge of homicide cases, visited the scene and removed the corpse of Elebo, which was taken for autopsy at the mortuary.
At time of this post, Balogun has been arrested and taken for discreet investigation and prosecution at the State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba.
