Fire on the bridge! A car suddenly went up in flames on Third Mainland Bridge right in the middle of the road. Click below to see how it turned out!

A car moving along the popular Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos suddenly caught fire on Sunday, August 5, 2019, at about 1pm.

The cause of the fire was unknown at the time of going to press, but Naijauto gathered that officials of the Lagos State Fire Service arrived at the scene, promptly, to contain the fire. As seen in the video we captured, the fire fighters were trying to put out the fire on the burning car right in the middle of the road.

>>> Say what? Fire extinguisher might be actually the culprit of car fire!

The car which was coming from the Iyana-Oworo area and was heading to the Island caused traffic on that lane. Other motorists tip-toed past the fire area to avoid getting caught up in it.
