While not every brand can make it happen, there are still some that boast of a longer warranty. See the list of 20 car brands who offer the longest warranties below!

How many miles does an average driver drive in a year?

With the number of cars increasing every year on the road, it appears people are spending more time behind the wheels. The US Department of Transportation collated data showing the number of miles an average driver in America drives. The data showed that an America driver drives 13,476 miles annually. Meaning that if a car has a warranty of 100,000 miles, it will take a driver seven years to cover the miles. When buying a car, if you opt for a car that has a 36,000 miles warranty, the coverage for your car will elapse in just two and a half years, and you will be left to battle repair issues from there going forward.

When you buy a car that has a long warranty, it can help you save up more money in the maintenance cost. And if you decide to resell it, you can equally make more money as well knowing that the manufacturer's warranty is still covering the car.

These days, a lot of new cars is covered with a 36,000 miles warranty, which is three years. However, if you look around, you can still get a car with a longer warranty that's even more by three times in warranty and mileage. Generally, and luxury cars are likely to have longer warranties. But there are few mass-produced automakers that offer better warranties than these expensive brands.

Naijauto.com has pieced together 20 car brands that have the longest warranties.
