Four persons have died in a car crash on Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway that involved a Mack low bed truck and a Toyota Corolla car in Obada-Oko area.

Naijauto gathered that the crash happened on a Sunday night, around 7.36 pm, as the Mack truck was making a U-turn while the Toyota Corolla that was coming at a high speed rammed into it.

Mr. Babatunde Akinbiyi, the spokesman for Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE) confirmed the accident to newsmen on Monday.

He inferred the cause of the accident is as a result of carelessness and over-speeding by the two drivers.

According to him, eight persons were involved in the accident. They are seven adults and one child. He said that four passengers inside the Corolla died on the scene while two others were injured.
