Four persons have died in a car crash on Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway that involved a Mack low bed truck and a Toyota Corolla car in Obada-Oko area.
Naijauto gathered that the crash happened on a Sunday night, around 7.36 pm, as the Mack truck was making a U-turn while the Toyota Corolla that was coming at a high speed rammed into it.
Mr. Babatunde Akinbiyi, the spokesman for Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE) confirmed the accident to newsmen on Monday.
He inferred the cause of the accident is as a result of carelessness and over-speeding by the two drivers.
According to him, eight persons were involved in the accident. They are seven adults and one child. He said that four passengers inside the Corolla died on the scene while two others were injured.

Mr. Akinbiyi also said the Mack truck driver and his motor boy couldn't be found when the rescue team came to the scene as they've run away.
He said,
I learnt the low bed trailer with no registration number was trying to make a U-turn at Obada Oko allegedly without trafficating, when the Toyota Corolla, marked EM 866 APP, which was on speed from Lagos, rammed into it.
However, six passengers were in the Toyota Corolla when the accident happened.
Four persons, including the driver and child, died on the spot, while the remaining two were injured
He went further to say that the injured victims have been taken to the General Hospital at Ijaye Abeokuta, together with the corpses.
He said the vehicles that were involved in the accident have been towed away, to the divisional police office, Adigbe in Abeokuta.
