Motorists and passerbys in the Anthony area of Lagos were shaken up as one of the popular BRT buses caught fire along the road.
The scenario was captured and recorded by many social accounts.
The bus fire released massive smoke column
The fire caused slow-moving traffic as motorists tried to maneuver around the road to avoid getting caught up in it. According to the post made online, no death was recorded in the outbreak.

As seen in a video posted on Instagram, men of the fire service were working to contain the fire on the burning bus which was in the middle of the road.

Cause of the fire was unknown at the time of going to press. It was reported that the fire service arrived speedily to the scene to put off the fire.
