BMW has been recalling 1,559 units of imported BMW X5
The German luxury car manufacturer says that this recall has started last Friday, July 28. Affected vehicles are BMW 5 Series models produced between January 30, 2013 and June 29, 2013, as reported.
The reason for this recall is that the rear reflectors of those vehicles are said not to reflect enough light in the dark. Hence, it’s quite difficult for other drivers to see the car on the road and can cause some potential safety hazards.

BMW highly recommends drivers of related vehicles to park their cars under lights and immediately contact the nearest dealership for help. The company will thoroughly check the reflectors and replace the defective ones for free.
Back in June, BMW China also issued a national recall on more than 86,000 imported BMW X5 and X6 for drive shaft problem. Formerly, in the first five months of this year, global and Chinese company recollected 4.49 million faulty vehicles in comparison with a total of 11.34 million units of 2016.
