Despite so many challenges, many of us are already getting used to popular ride-hailing services offered by companies like Uber, Bolt, and the likes. However, a new tech startup in Lagos seems to be viewing things from yet another angle which they believe would benefit Nigerians the more.
The tech company called BMP Car has just launched a new ride-hailing platform that actually combines both VIP Taxi services and car-sharing services into one system.
Lagos tech company, BMP Car launches a new ride-hailing service that combines Car sharing and VIP Taxi service into one platform
Sometimes late last year, we published a post that comprehensively discusses Bolt Nigeria promo codes for 2020 & price comparison with Uber. However, if things work out as advertised; the new BMP Car 2-in-1 platform seems to have a lot more benefits compared to both Uber and Bolt in Nigeria.
According to recent press reports, the new BMP Car platform allows users to either book a ride “On-the-go” to any covered destination or simply link-up with another rider going the same route to share a ride. The “VIP Taxi” mode is currently only available within Lagos environs while the ride-sharing mode is accessible for both interstate and intrastate journeys.
Recent official press reports claim that the new BMP car platform is designed as a community that connects passengers to car drivers in a convenient and secured manner.
It was stated that the platform verifies every new user’s identity after their registration to ensure that anyone sharing a ride can easily know his/her partner to a certain extent beforehand. Mr. Ezekiel Ojo, the founder, and CEO of BMP Car also confirms that the platform was created to reduce stress and improve the comfort of ride-sharing and VIP taxi service provision. He mentioned that BMP Car offers a unique 2-in-1 combo of VIP taxi services and ride-sharing to ensure that every type of ride-hailing user gets optimum satisfaction they deserve.
Below is a recent advert video of BMP Car posted on YouTube to show the platform reduces the stress of ride-hailing in Lagos:
