Automaker Bentley has recalled over a thousand of its Mulsanne luxury brand sold worldwide because it just found out that the car’s rear seat belt anchor is likely to detach in the face of a collision, increasing chances of injury to its users.
Placing top priority on the safety of her customers, the luxury brand has made an open call for all purchased brands to be brought back so it could fix the issue. It has provided technicians at its various dealerships to make the seatbelts stronger by the addition of a reinforcement panel to the car’s body structure. Customers who already purchased the vehicle don’t have to pay a dime for the fixing; the cost is solely on Bentley.
Over a thousand of Bentley Mulsanne cars are recalled by the automaker
Nigerian celebrity blogger Linda Ikeji is one of the few Nigerians who own the flagship brand of Bentley that was recalled. Fortunately for the single mother of one, her custom 2019 Bentley Mulsanne isn’t part of the recalled models. So, she doesn’t have to go through the hassle of taking it back for fixing. The recall concerns 1,059 regular Mulsanne as well as the Mulsanne Speed in total produced from January 2012 to September 2018.
Linda Ikeji bought her Bentley Mulsanne in celebration of the birth of her son, shaking up the internet with the news of her baby’s arrival. About two weeks ago, she posted a photo of herself chilling in the same car.
