Recent photos and reports confirm that the governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano truly defied very heavy downpour on Tuesday, July 7th, 2020, to inspect some ongoing road projects in his state. The reports claim that Governor Obiano inspected the 11.5 kilometer Mmiata-Nzam road project alongside its adjoining 120-meter long bridge under the heavy rainfall.

According to the reports, Governor Obiano reaffirmed his unshakable commitment to ensuring the completion of the road projects he inspected while expressing satisfaction with the current progress he could see.
The governor reportedly explained that the bridge and road projects will be of great benefit to residents of Anambra West Local Government Area and the state at large. He mentioned that the road project will aid local farmers in the area to move their farm produce to nearby markets with ease as well as generally boost road transportation in the area.

The reports also state that Engr. Marcel Ifejiofor – the Commissioner of Works in Anambra state who received the Governor at the project site, reportedly mentioned affirmed that the road projects should be completed anytime from now. He claimed that the road is already being used partially as contractors continue work and will complete the project soon.
