5. Bonus story: Frank Nneji & the launch of ABC Transport Nigeria

We all know ABC Transport is among the largest transportation companies in the entire West Africa, not only in our country. But do you know this giant business started with a humble amount of money - 500 naira?

Frank-Nneji-reward-employees

Frank Nneji rewarded 2 dedicated drivers Toyota HiAce buses

Frank Nneji was born on April 30th, 1960 in Kaduna. Initially, he studied Biological sciences in university but then changed to Zoology at the same school - University of Nsukka. He also attended Lagos Business School and Wharton Business School in the US years later.

This man is a keen business mind who earned his first 500 naira by selling past questions from records office to students in his university. Thanks to this sum of money, he could buy a student rebate ticket to fly to Italy and brought back fashion items for resale. The total earning was the crucial factor in helping Frank set up his very first business and followed this path till date.

His first company was Rapido specialized in educational materials but the firm went bankrupt due to the low cost. The businessman didn't give up. While he was travelling to Lagos on a cramped bus, he thought of a business plan for transportation in Nigeria. He finished his plan in 1991 and registered a loan from Diamond bank.

Frank used the money to lease 5 HiAce buses and launched The Associate Bus Company.

6. Conclusion

ABC transport price list for all locations is quite very affordable as you can see. The company is well equipped to give you comfortable travel experience while embarking on that long journey. The usual panic accustomed with arriving at a new enviroment late in the night is already covered and catered for.
