A lot of road accidents have claimed several lives alone in 2021. While some were lucky enough to survive these road ordeals unhurt, many were killed or sustained serious injuries. One such tragic incident was the recent road accident that claimed the lives of at least nine passengers and left 15 others injured in Oyo state. According to reports, this accident took place last Saturday evening when a commercial bus had a head-on collision with another bus on the Moniya-Iseyin Expressway in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Residents of Iseyin were present at the crash scene of the freak accident that claimed many lives
Naijauto gathered that the two commercial buses collided at a very sharp bend of the road, where many passengers were killed right on the spot. Just like it is common with most accidents, this particular one was caused by excessive speeding around the Kraal Market area at Iseyin. According to residents of Iseyin, some of the injured passengers suffered broken limbs. It was also reported that many of them were church members and were returning from a ceremony held in Saki.
