The FRSC in Kano state has confirmed in fresh reports that nine persons lost their lives in a recent ghastly car crashed that occurred in Dambatta LGA. Mr Zubairu Mato, the sector commander of FRSC in Kano state noted that Kunar Dumawa village was the exact location where the incident occurred in Dambatta. He confirmed that 9 persons died while 41 others sustained varying degrees of injuries from the horrific crash.

According to Mr Zubairu Mato, the Kano state FRSC got notified of this horrific incident during the evening hours of Sunday 28th of February 2021. He explained that the command immediately sent out personnel and patrol vans to go rescue victims involved in the car crash. Unfortunately, nine victims of the crash died while the remaining injured 41 people are currently receiving medical attention at the General Hospital in Dambatta, Kano state.
When speaking about the cause of this horrific accident, Mr Mato reportedly blamed brake failure and loss of control as the reason for the ghastly crash. He also mentioned that the accident involved a heavy-duty truck with plate number XA 111 SNN, a Volkswagen bus with plate number DAL 515 ZX and another car with no plate number.
