1. The humble start

2. Peugeot first car with 3 wheels
Just like any car circa 1880s, their first car was designed with 3 wheels by a seasoned mechanic Leon Serpollet.

3. Its first electrical car
Due to some regulations on fuel usage, the Peugeot came up with the idea for an electric car and successfully delivered it to the market in 1941. It was then named VLV.
Though the tag "electric" is only trendy recent years, Peugeot has put it in their car way back in 1940s
4. The "world-war" car
The Peugeot business becomes alive again after being halted by World War II. It quickly gave birth to a new Peugeot, the Peugeot 203. The car immediately became a hit and was sold nearly half a million units.

5. The World War effect
When World War I was impending, the brand decided to stop its auto manufacturing business and shifted to military equipment instead.
6. The awards
There are in total of 5 European-car-of-the-year awards were given to Peugeot. The Peugeot 405, 405, 307, 308, 3008 have won in the year 1969, 1988, 2002, 2014, 2017, respectively.
Also, it has won in the WRC for 5 times, in Dakar Rally for 6 times, the European Rally Championship and the Intercontinental Rally Challenge each for 3 times.

7. The headquarters
Peugeot has 2 headquarters, only one of which is functional and is located in Sochaux, France. The other is located in Grande Armee Paris.
Also, the mother company of Peugeot, PSA Peugeot Citroen is ranked second in the list of largest car manufacturers in Europe.
