Naturally, car theft is a big deal for car owners and the authorities. Well, it even gets worse when a car is stolen with someone sleeping inside. This was the case in Ohio when a car thief identified as 32-year-old Justin Vaughn stole an Audi car with a 19-year-old boy sleeping inside. The incident was made public by Findlay Police Department last Saturday around 1 pm when two people identified as Kharisma Guajardo and Raylon Scott took a 2012 Audi A4 to trade in at Taylor Hyundai.

Little did the thief know that Scott was actually in the backseat when he drove the car away from the dealership. Fortunately, people were able to quickly notice that the car was missing from where it was parked and tracked to its location. The policemen in charge of recovering the stolen vehicle got real-time updates from Guajardo and Scott.
Scott was updating the authorities with the location of the car and threatening behaviours of the car thief. As a result, Vaughn was spotted by the local police department, who were earlier briefed about a possible car theft from a dealership. The officers on duty spotted the suspect and decided to conduct a search at a traffic stop. As suspected, the man behind the wheel fled knowing fully well that he was about to be busted. Apparently, the driving skill of the police officer that initiated the chase came in handy when he deployed a slow speed vehicle termination technique to disable the car safely on the road.
