Recent reports claim that 3 people lost their lives in a recent accident between an empty tanker and a commercial bus in Delta State
According to media sources, this horrifying incident was allegedly caused by a reckless Lexus SUV driver who carelessly overtook the empty tanker causing the driver to swerve quickly to the opposite side of the road so as to avoid smashing the SUV. Unfortunately, the tanker swerved to the “wrong” lane which made it eventually hit the commercial bus coming from the other side of the road on that lane.
Eyewitnesses claim that the fatal head-on collision led to the “instant” death of the commercial bus driver. They also narrated that the passenger beside the driver actually opened the door on his own side and jumped out to save himself from the head-on collision but he still got ran over by the tanker despite his effort to survive. Similarly, another female passenger of the commercial bus who was rushed to a nearby private hospital also gave up the ghost a few moments after the incident.
