Tragedy struck recently when two vehicles collided and went up in flames, leaving 3 people dead near Petronila in Texas, United States last Sunday afternoon. This information was brought to the public by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The road accident, which was caused by reckless driving, claimed 3 lives in Petronila
From eyewitnesses’ report according to the troopers, the road accident was caused by excessive speeding and reckless driving. The driver of an old passenger vehicle was spotted overtaking several vehicles at an insane speed, where it crashed into a 4-door passenger car.

As a result of this collision, the two cars went up in flames after being thrown into the field. Sergeant Nathan Brandley, while commenting on the unfortunate incident, revealed that the roadway where the accident happened is just 2 lanes in each direction, which made it hard for other motorists to have options when a disaster of such looms. To him, driving in such a manner would not leave enough room for people to take evasive action.

3 people dead, 2 children transported to the hospital after major accident in Petronila
Two of the three people that lost their lives in the auto crash have been identified. One is a 31-year-old Amber Madrano, while the other, a 22-year-old Jacklyn Espinosa from Corpus Christi. The police are yet to ascertain the identity of the third dead body in the other vehicle.
From what we learnt from further report, 2 children (age 3 and 8) were rushed to the Driscoll Children’s Hospital to receive medical assistance. Fortunately, the children are responding well to treatment.
