Just yesterday, fresh reports claim that “Overspeeding” caused a fatal accident that killed 3 persons and left 4 injured on Ilorin-Jebba road. The heartbreaking incident reportedly occurred on the popular road during the evening hours of Thursday 11th of November 2021.
FRSC reports confirm that 3 persons recently died in a fatal accident that occurred on Ilorin-Jebba road in Kwara State
According to press reports, two vehicles were involved in this recent fatal crash that occurred on Ilorin-Jebba road. The affected vehicles include a heavy-duty trailer fitted with plate number TO 431 KT and a red-painted Toyota Corolla car which carries the plate number AFN 274 NY.
Mr Jonathan Owoade, the sector commander of FRSC in Kwara State confirmed this heartbreaking in his public statement to the press. He revealed that the incident happened around 6:10 pm at the Olokonla area near Shao Junction in Moro LGA, Kwara State. Mr Owoade says that the horrifying incident was caused by “Overspeeding” and speed limit violation from both drivers involved. He further revealed that a total of seven victims were involved in the crash; two of which were females and the other five were males. As of the time of writing this report, the two female victims and one other male have been confirmed dead while others are badly injured.
