New images of the Hyundai Sonata 2020 has been released, but once said to be on an existing platform in an earlier statement released to the public. But to our knowledge, it is now known that the medium sized sedan will be based on a new third generation safety, efficiency and performance platform.
In an effort to promote safety, the car will make use of super high tensile steel and hot stamped to avoid any kind of deformation with the passenger space in any case of collision. It will also take advantage of multi-load path structure that ensures vehicle increased strength to easily absorb crash power. When the small corner of a car is hit in a small overlap collision, the tires in the wheels are trained to move outward in prevention of any form of spinning and any possible secondary collision.
