The comforts and performance of an SUV and the maneuverability of a mini? Check out this years crop of the little big guys showing at the New York auto show.

The 2019 New York Auto Show Debuts is ongoing and we are certainly loving the automobiles rolled out. The Easter season gets some pep from the annual car-fest as car lovers revel in the sights and smells of clean leather, motor oil and sleek machined bodies. Happening at the Jacob Javits Convention Center, New York, the event started on the Friday, April 19th and will run through Sunday, April 28. So if you are still planning to play catch up, you won't have missed too much as there is still plenty to come. Just bear in mind the tickets are $17 for adults, $7 for children (7-12 years, under 6 free).

So far, what have caused a stir at the auto show are the adorable mini-SUVs on the exhibition stands. This year, bucking the usual SUV trend of the bigger the better, automakers seem to be saying “good things also come in small packages.” Let’s look at the 2019 SUV juniour debutantes!

1. Kia HabaNiro 2019

This self-driving SUV is a scissors-door vehicle developed by Kia. The fully automated car is activated by biometric scanning, to start the car and setup the drivers personal profile.

6. Lincoln Corsair 2019

Of all the SUV, the ‘little bigger’ goes to this voguish Lincoln SUV which has 24-way adjustable seats. That's quite not typical. According to Lincoln it’s targeting its two-row SUV at China and in the US, which is the fastest growing sports utility vehicle market.

Get lucky with one of these mini-SUVs and you are sure to have a fun-filled auto year. They are by no means luxury SUVs in the make of the Lamborghini Urusbut they do represent in their segment.
