Prepare money and head to the Festival of Speed right now.

In car collectors’ eyes, the 1960 Aston Martin DB4GT Zagato is regarded as gold. Not only does it have a long period of history, the Zagato is also a rare model with a limited number of copies. Only 25 units of Zagato were produced and one of them is putting up for auction at the Festival of Speed.

This Aston Martin DB4GT Zagato is one out of merely three that were built in ultra-light DP209 specification. Beyond that, it used to be driven by Indy 500 winner and two-time F1 champion – Jim Clark.

Although looking that clean, but the Zagato has crashed on the way in a few cases and has been in need of repairs several times. Accidentally, the auction takes place in the same locus where the Zagato came a cropper 56 years ago.

At the moment, the 1956 Aston Martin DBR1 is the most expensive British vehicle ever to be fetched $22.5 million (nearly N8,2 billion) at auction. And the 1960 Aston Martin DB4GT Zagato promises to snatch the title away from its sibling to become the most valuable British car ever sold at an auction.
