New traffic updates claim that the recent accident on Minna-Bida road was caused by a truck that broke down very close to the centre of the road. Press sources claim that the close proximity of the stationary truck to the middle of the road could have confused the Toyota bus that collided with it. Unfortunately, the bus was caught up in flames after the crash and the majority of its passengers were burnt to death. The PPRO of the Niger State police command has confirmed that only one person survived the ghastly crash. The survivor is said to be currently receiving medical attention in a hospital in Minna, the capital city of Niger State.
