The reason for the Infiniti QX30’s defect is said to be related to its airbag.

Recognizing airbag-related problems in its QX30, Infiniti decided to recall numerous units of this car. According to the latest car news, the airbags on the QX30 may suddenly activate without any external force. This can injure drivers and increase the risk of a car accident.

Fortunately, there has been no incident caused by the failed airbags is reported yet, but still, the company called for a recall of this car model.

After recognizing some problems in the QX30 involving to its airbag, Infiniti decided to recall numerous units of this car

Speaking of the QX30 defect, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) explained that the accidental deploy of the airbag might be led by the coincidence of an insufficient grounding to the steering column, and an electrostatic discharge to a damaged steering column-module clock spring.

Fortunately, there has been no incident caused by the failed airbags is reported

The company will recall a total of 17,507 Infiniti QX30 units which are produced in the period from August 10th, 2015 to June 16th, 2017. Additionally, Nissan will contact all owners of these cars from December 18th, 2017.
