It is found that 2012 Audi cars and upwards no longer provide dipsticks for oil level check, but feature an oil level sensors and display the information on the Audi Multimedia Interface (MMI) instead.To get the oil level information, simply press the button on the centre console, choose the oil level section using the rotary dial.

Another way to check Audi’s oil level is using the digital dash panel insert on the dashboard. Follow some below steps to view the oil level:

  • Opening the bonnet
  • Turning the engine off
  • Opening driver door
  • Turning the ignition on and finally, the oil level will be displayed.

In addition, make sure that the oil temperature must be above 40 degree Celsius, which means the engine must have been warmed beforehand.
