The young man recently convicted for internet fraud in Ilorin was said to be having no “defined” job. He was accused of purchasing his Mercedes-Benz SUV from the proceeds of his fraudulent activities on the internet. This is the reason why the young man has now forfeited the expensive Benz car and some of his belongings to the Federal government. All of the items recovered from the young man include the following:
- Mercedes-Benz ML350 SUV
- Infinix smartphone
- HP laptop
- Iphone 12
The high court in Ilorin has sentenced the arrested “Yahoo Yahoo” boy to a total of two years imprisonment with an option of ₦300,000 on each of his count's charges.
