The Lagos Motor Fair that was held at the Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos, has just concluded and Toyota stole the show with one of their product, the Toyota Rush 2019.
The motor show tagged “Lagos Motor Show & Auto Parts Expo” took place between the 6th and 11th of May, 2019. It was attended by many firms in the automotive sector showcasing their best and was quite a huge success. This show witnessed about over 170,000 buyers from all around the world. Of the automakers who participated in this show, Toyota caused a stir with the Toyota Rush that is yet to fully enter the Nigerian market.

Fully coated in black, the new 2019 Toyota Rush was all dazzling during its exhibition. The car is a compact Sport Utility Vehicle that has not just a beautiful exterior, but a nice and spacious interior. The car got everyone staring despite the competition from other compact SUVs during the show.

Previously, at the at the Toyota Awards/Customers Night at the Civic Centre in Lagos, Chief Michael Ade-Ojo who is the Chairman of Toyota Nigeria Limited, had assured Nigeria that the company understands the situation of the country at present and will continue to provide their Nigerian customers, products that are not only affordable, but reliable and durable, equal to the value of the money spent.

“We will continue to initiate customer-friendly business improvement strategies aimed at making our brand more affordable. One of the strategies is the introduction of more affordable Toyota models and spare parts. Only recently, we introduced the Toyota Rush into the Nigerian market. The model has enjoyed tremendous acceptance and patronage by (from) our customers.” He said.
During the recent Lagos Motor Show, the Toyota exhibited and dominated with their products which are SUVs, Pickups Sedans and buses. The company exhibited more than five different models of their Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs), which includes the Land Cruiser Estate, Land Cruiser Prado, Fortuner, RAV4 and Rush.

While the Toyota Hilux and Land Cruiser Pickup caused a major ripple in the pickup category, the sedan models included the new Camry, Avensis, Corolla and Yaris. At the same time the Hiace and Coaster made their best mark in the bus section.
