Politicians have all sorts of tactics used in winning elections. Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s can be found sharing bottles of coke to garner support ahead of the March 9th Guber elections.

At Naijauto, we always wonder the level to which politicians will go to get the goodwill of the people once it is election period. As we are in the heat of the elections, a lot of politicians are going all out to make sure they get in favour with people, and ensure that they have their support in the coming election. This is the strategy that will enable them achieve their purpose of a political office, as it has proved to work in time past.


Sanwo-Olu strategically engages motorists and the voting public at the toll!

Politicians have been known to give all sorts gifts including cash during election period. Some have given food stuffs tagged as “stomach infrastructure” to this end. This is why it didn't come as a shock when Babajide Sanwo-Olu - the gubernatorial candidate for the APC in Lagos state, went about the Lekki toll gate and started sharing bottles of Coca-Cola to motorists while they pass the toll gate.

Babajide Sanwo-Olu has a PR team with a no holds barred approach, as they've been seen in recent time to use all sorts of canvassing method to get the willingness of the people. Babajide Sanwo-Olu even has a Mobile App for android devices, for the sole purpose of engaging the populace especially those of voting age, to get their support in the upcoming gubernatorial elections.

Motorists were seen to smile as they collected the bottles of Coca-Cola been handed to them by the Babajide Sanwo-Olu PR crew. The amazement was so much that some motorists were seen asking for a sachet of Gala to go along with the bottle of Coke.

Babajide Sanwo-Olu seems unrelenting even as the day for the election gets closer. You will recall that he was also at the same toll gate in December sharing free passes to motorists to get their support for the upcoming elections.
