Ooni of Ife Biography

The first-class king has a name; Oba Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi. He was born on 17 October 1974, in Ile-Ife and he's the fifth child from a family of seven. Before becoming King on 26 October 2015, he was known as an accountant and a real estate developer. He's hold quite high qualification as he holds a doctorate degree in Law from Igbinedion University and another in Public Administration from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

Oba Adeyeye isn't just a great King, he's also the Chancellor of University of Nigeria, Nsukka, a position that was conferred to him by the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari in 2016.

As the 51st Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye was once married to Adebukola Bombata, in 2008, but she is no longer an Ooni of Ife wife when they got divorced in 2016. In that same year, he married Wuraola Zaynab Otiti. In August 2017, Wuraola announced that her 17 months old marriage to the stylish monarch had come to an end. Via her Instagram page, she made the official statement on August 30, 2017, also adding that she would continue her job as a humanitarian.

Currently, the Ooni of Ife's new wife is Silekunola Naomi Ogunwusi after the king revealed their relationship in October 2018. The new Olori is also a Prophetess, running an interdenominational ministry in Akure, Ondo state. Although they don't have a child together yet, the King has a daughter, Princess Adeola Aanuolouwapo Ogunwusi, he had her when he was just 19. Being one of the richest kings in Nigeria, the King gifted his Queen a mansion and two official luxurious cars in 2018.
