The amazing thing is that Nissan has chosen Thailand as the market to launch the new Nissan Kicks 2020 E-Power. This was announced by popular Thai website Chobrod which is an online destination for car sales, review, expert's consultancy, and general automotive information based in Thailand.

The 2020 Nissan Kicks E-Power is, of course, Nissan’s newest Crossover-SUV. The car is being launched under the aegis of Nissan Thailand. Nissan Thailand gives the details of the launch as happening on the 15th of May, 2020, at about 7 PM, local time. The model is the first launch that the auto company is engaging in since the pandemic hit.
Many automakers have gone the route of online launches or digital showcases to introduce their products. This bold move by Nissan Thailand is a recent first. Meanwhile, Nigeria is not left in the cold as regards the EV race; the recently launched commercial electric vehicle in Nigeria is a pointer that the electric car revolution will soon be a fact in Nigeria also.

The Nissan Kicks E-power is a hybrid electric car that utilizes the upside-down concept of power. It has just one electric motor, and Nissan has said there is no limit to the range. Its gasoline engine charges the car’s electric motor, making any external charge point unnecessary.
Other specs of the Nissan Kicks E-Power include a 1.2-liter petrol engine with HR12DE 3-cylinders, used as the charging mechanism for the 1.5 kilowatt-hours battery, all together outputting 129 horsepower.

Though not officially announced, the price is expected to be in the region of ฿1 million or ₦12 million. For this electric car, that sounds pretty reasonable.
