In addition to its reveal in the UK, the 15th E-Type will also be showcased. This is a car which was among the six cars that were displayed at the Scottish Motor Show in 1961. In 1973, it was disassembled with restoration in mind. However, and it remained in that state until 2013 and underwent a 3,000-hour reconstruction. It got its original state before the dismantling.
Here's a statement made by the Director Concours of Elegance, Andrew Evans,
"Alongside this gathering of some of the most significant Jaguar cars ever built, we’ve got a display of one of each of the 19 Aston Martin Zagato models built, a collection of the most important Bentleys ever – including the first car to win at Le Mans back-to-back – and a whole host of other icons from the likes of Rolls-Royce, Lotus and McLaren."
