Naijauto has just gotten updates from the recent gala dinner party that was organized by the French automaker Bugatti to celebrate its 110th year anniversary. During this dinner party held on Saturday 7th September 2019, the record-setting 304mph long-tail Chiron prototype was on display and Stephan Winkelmann – Bugatti CEO, revealed that the company will only produce 30 units of this new sports car.
The limited-edition Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ hypercar revealed during Bugatti’s anniversary dinner
The new hypercar is known officially as the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ and will be sold at a whopping ₦1.4 billion ($3.89 million) starting price for each lucky customer.
It should be noted that this revealed version of the new Chiron Super Sport 300+ is not the same as the production prototype that had a roll cage with a single seat – used to break the 300mph speed barrier.
Even though they both feature the same powertrain, the production version will have passenger seats as well as an electronically limited top speed of just 273.4mph (440kph). Both versions draw power from an 8.0L quad-turbo W16 engine that oozes 1,578hp which is the exact same engine featured in the ₦3.6 billion Limited Edition Bugatti Centodieci hypercar that was also launched this year.
