Naijauto note:

From the generations of engines so far, it’s clear that Toyota Highlander appears to be making major changes to its engine every year of its generation while it is different for the Honda Pilot, but this does not automatically mean that the engine of the Pilot is not sub-standard. Another key point you should note is that as at the time this article is published, Honda is yet to integrate a Hybrid version for its Honda Pilot SUV.

Honda Company claims that they are testing and planning a plug-in hybrid for its Pilot crossover because they want electric vehicles to account for two-thirds of their vehicle by 2030. If we see the Hybrid version for Honda Pilot then it will be the fourth electrified vehicle from Honda. Though currently there is no ETA on when the Honda Pilot Hybrid will be available, we just have to wait to see what it all entails.
