The fact is lots of models sold out there bring their owners torments. So how to get rid of them. Hopefully, ConsumerReports.org has listed 20 used cars (models from 2003- 2012) you should not buy.

10. Volkswagen Touareg

The first generation of the Volkswagen Touareg received negative reviews from users who claimed the car got problems with the center support bearings’ premature failure, which adds up to the list of faults including Engine Major, Transmission Minor, Fuel System, Drive System, Power Equipment, Electrical System, and Audio System.

9. Saturn Relay

Released in 2005, the Saturn Relay was soon cut off it production for poor sales figures, which blames for the unresponsive handling, noisy cabin, and insubstantial fit and finish. Consumer Reports ranks the minivan's reliability low, specifically in Transmission Minor, Power Equipment, Body Hardware, Squeaks and Rattles, Paint and Trim, Brakes, Suspension, Climate System, Electrical System, Fuel System, Drive System,  and Engine Cooling (model 2007) faults.

8. Saturn Outlook

The Saturn Outlook followed its cousin steps to join the worst used cars ranked by Consumer Reports. This model could only stand its ground in the auto market in 3 years from 2007 to 2010, then came to a discontinuity. The reason was clear. It, according to Consumer Reports, failed to meet demands of Transmission Major, Transmission Minor,  Audio System Power, Equipment Squeaks and Rattles Suspension, Climate System Electrical and Drive System.

This model could only stand its ground in the auto market in 3 years from 2007 to 2010, then came to a death

7. Nissan Armada

When mentioning to the Nissan Armada, people are often impressed by its vigorous towing capacity of up to 9,100 pounds. Sadly, this feature couldn’t draw back the customers’ interest for numerous faults. The 2010 models were the worst with Power Equipment, Body Hardware, Squeaks and Rattles, Paint and Trim, Climate System, and Electrical System faults.

6. Mini Cooper S

Everybody loves the Mini Cooper S’s styling design, which secures car buyers’ interest in the car but to buy a used one will soon disappoint you by a wide range of faults in this model; to name some: Body Hardware, Squeaks and Rattles, Paint and Trim (model 2008), Exhaust Suspension, Climate System (model 2003) fuel system transmission, and engine cooling faults.

5. Mercedes-Benz GL-Class
